He does not love taxis. He wants to take the bus or the subway. BUT, he does not wish to give up his subway token to get out the turnstile when you reach the destination! A wrestling match will ensue.
He does not love waiting. For anything. At all! And making him will result in much foot stomping {on Asher's part} and gnashing of teeth {my part} accompanied by whining and my favorite.....Asher crying for his Chinese Mama non-stop until he gets what he was waiting for.
Yes, life is that good! And yes, we get stared at a lot.
He does not love veggies. Of any kind. He does not love restaurants or Chinese food. Give him McDonald's and he's a happy camper! As long as you don't make him wait for it. Of course.
What does he love? Besides McDonalds? And candy? And Ice cream? And sugar in any form?
The Pool! Future Shadowmoss Shark right here y'all! Fearless, he jumped right in and spent a good hour in the pool with Baba today. A great way to channel all his energy!
So precious!
And adorable!
In all his boyish silliness!
He does not, however, love to share his new toys with Baba. Instead, he hides them under his legs so you can not touch them without him knowing! HILARIOUS!
Those he loves to keep all to himself. Hmmmm, I wonder how he's going to do in our house? With two sisters and two brothers to share everything with. March should be an interesting month for the Gour family!

OH yes! a true little emperor! So nice that you have the pool though! There is no pool at the Golden Ocean. We are planning to go into Beijing for a couple days to kill some time. It's actually cheaper to do that since I realized that the guide lives there and you don't need to pay for his hotel! So we balanced that out with the Great wall and a acrobate show!
I have a feeling once you get on the plane and head to Guangzhou Asher will simmer down a bit. Terry
My goodness, I do believe he and Moli were raised by the same foster family. Let's just say we got stared at a lot too. :) And that she had 18 cavities by the time we got her home... I love the pictures of the toys under his legs. That made me laugh. I am praying for you. I remember what it was like to hear Moli cry for mama and know it wasn't me. In my head it was ok, but in my heart it was the hardest thing I've ever done. We can't wait to meet that sweet stinker when you get home!
Hey Chelsea, what hotel are you guys using? I've only heard reviews on the Golden Ocean. Wish we were there now!
So excited for your family and for Asher! We've enjoyed reading about your experience.
