This is what happens.....

When you take 3 little girls to the pool!

I love how my nephew, Christian, just stands there while the girls do their thang and then just jumps in with them! Poor fella. Too much estrogen there, I think.

The whole crew at the pool yesterday!

Megan with Claire, Noah, Parker, Jordan, Isabel, Lindsay and Christian

Lined up in birth order, except Claire....I was afraid she'd fall in the pool if I put her at the end with Christian. That would not be a good thing!

This one....she's special!

This is the child that wouldn't stick a toe in the water last year and last week.....yeah, she hyperventilated when I mentioned letting go of my hands to "swim" to someone and then choked on a mouthful of inhaled water. So, we're almost ready for the swim team. Right? Baby steps kicks, people. Baby steps kicks!

Otters, Snakes and OWLS!

Oh my!
Oops! The owl fell over.
Or maybe he's having an identity crisis and thinks he's a bat?
And, what is up with Lindsay's hair up there??

Guess where we spent the day?

Go ahead, try to figure it out.

Okay, okay.

I took the girls to the Aquarium for the day.
So, we have my neice,
Jordan up there with Isabel and her sister,
Lindsay down with Claire.

Isabel and Lindsay are the same age....like within 10 days of each other! Funny thing. Heh. Paul's brother, David and wife, Jeanie, lived with us for almost a year when Jordan and the boys were little. See, they were trying to sell a house in another place, so they could move back to our town. Jeanie and I both got pregnant the month that David and Jeanie moved out. Heh. Funny thing. Our due dates were the same. Hmmmmm. We gave my in-laws the pregnancy tests for Christmas that year. I know! Don't you wish you were so lucky?

So anyway.

The three girls always have a great time when they are together!

Beautiful...........frog, right?

Jordan made sure that Claire wasn't left out.

Jordan = sweet!

Claire and Lindsay

And the following segment is titled:
Lindsay and the Snake

Brought to you today by the letter Sssssss

Lindsay is quite a character. As. You. Can. See.

It's a love hate relationship!

You Scream!

I Scream!

They Scream!

FOR ICE CREAM!

Parker, Noah, Isabel, cousins Megan and Christian and Claire

Claire's first ice cream in a cone of her own!

It's a big hit! DUH!

This video is so cute you have to see it! Can you even believe that she didn't know a lick (hehe, no pun intended, but I thought it was cute anyway!) of English last year? Listen to her! She speaks so clearly and well that you'd think she was born here!

I thought we were washing the dog!

Ah, man! Never mind!

You wouldn't dare!

Highlights from Swim Team

Go Sharks!
The summer league swim team started in May, with swim meets in June and the beginning of July. We missed three meets due to our trip out west, but that couldn't be helped. Every year the children improve and this year we saw Isabel get 2 first places in her back-stroke. Parker got a second in his freestyle. Noah didn't want to swim this year and then broke his arm in April and couldn't swim until June anyway, so that worked out. Claire says she wants to be on the team next year....but, not put her face in the water......hmmmmm.

Parker is in the blue cap

Isabel ready for her freestyle heat

Claire enjoys the ring-pop that someone bestowed upon my princess. She is about spoiled, and it's not just family that does the spoiling. Everywhere we go, people try to get in on the action.

Isabel's blue ribbon back stroke.
Unfortunately, her goober Mama was watching her and not the camera angle and so I cut her off for part of this video. Isabel is the child in the far right when the camera starts rolling....then she's out of the shot and then about half way through, I get her back in it and you see her finish up first! What can I say, I am definitely not a professional!
