Well.....while the guys were going all Tool-Time on the Caudill's house, the women were eating bon-bons. NO! We were herding cats hanging out with six kids! For for days. What does that look like?
Awww, sweet!
Okay, it only looked like that for about 2.3 seconds!
Most of the time it looked like a whole lotta crazy!
Crazy like 12 people shoved around one kitchen table made for 6 eating dinner together!
Crazy like three families sleeping in a house made for one!
Yep!
And messy!
A whole lotta!
But mostly it was sweet and fun!
And, we were thankful for the friends of Anna and Shane's that let us use their house for the entire week! They went on vacation and let perfect strangers take over. They gave us a place to crash in....and eat in, and play in!
It was crazy fun!
It was shopping trips!
And fast food play yards!
Lots of huggin'
And a couple of naps!
We took entertainment where we could find it! Even at the dog groomer's window!
And ate at our favorite places!
And let our kids have french fries and ice cream, just because!
It was concerts in the living room!
It was bowling!
And they had a blast!
All the littles played.
Even when they were too tired to play!
Awww!
The children really enjoyed each other's company!
It was water balloon fights!
Because 6 kids + 3,000,000 water balloons =
1 very wet Anna!
And that is called fun, folks!
I say, as I hide behind my camera!
It was the best way to keep the heat at bay!
And everyone had fun!
So much fun!
That they decided to do it again another day!
Sometimes it was too much of a good thing!
But everything worked out in the end!
And everyone got good and wet!
Then one day...
We had to pack up and say goodbye.
Because it was time to get back to reality.
And now we miss our friends!
But we have all the memories to keep in our hearts until we see them again!
We love you Shane, Anna and YoYo and Scott, Karla and Mia!
