Basketball Season Comes To An End!

As a child, I did not play sports and had no interest in watching sports. I had no idea how much I would enjoy watching my children play sports! This year all three of the children played Upward basketball. Upward is a wonderful program that focuses, not on the competitive aspect of the sport, but on the fun of playing and learning. This was the 5th season for the boys and the 1st for Isabel. Parker and Noah, thankfully, have inherited their father's athletic ability. Isabel, on the other hand, never showed an abundance of that quality, leading us to believe she is taking after me. However, she showed GREAT improvement from the beginning of the season to the end! After trying soccer and tennis, she has deemed basketball "her thing"! Our family is sad to end the season but we played our last games on Saturday. We'll be back next year. For now, we move on to baseball with the boys and wait for swim team to start in May! Here are a few short clips of the games.
