Pool Time!

We live in a neighborhood with a pool.  We go to the pool nearly every. single. day.  And yet, if we are at a hotel with a pool, we must go to the pool! We must see if it is any different from any other pool we have ever been in across this country!

At least it's a good way to kill a few hours, right?
 And take some cute pictures!

Clearly taking advantage of the fact that Daddy is in the pool.  Mom is not so much fun!

And of course, you look at kids like Cole and Katelyn, who rarely ever get to go to a pool and they were lovin' it, so it was so worth every minute.  I watched Katelyn {adopted just over a year ago} get a few swimming pointers from the dad's and by the time we departed poolside, she was face-in-the-water swimming!  It doesn't get any better!

Claire loves to put her face in the water.....now.
It was altogether a different story last year!

It's hard not to think about what life would have been like for these kids if they had not found their forever families.  Look at these sweet faces!  And imagine....

It gives me chills when we have all the kids together and we get to see how far they have come in two years.

Look how big baby Mia is!

And this boy?

Is quite possibly

One of the most precious creatures

On the face of the Earth!

Oh! My! Word!

But Claire holds the record for changing the most, I think!
From a tubby little toddler that couldn't really toddle to a lean, keen, walking/running/swimming machine!

And you gotta love...

All the faces that are Mia!
There is just too much personality in one little body for it to stay hidden I tell ya!

And how do you end a day at the pool?

A big Chinese dinner of course!

And a big cheesy grin!

Thanks for the pictures with my sweet boy. And, as I have been a little to swamped to say it...Your husband and Scott are my heroes. Thanks so much for the super job they did and all the sacrifice to help make our house ready for FX. Words can not express how much I appreciate all that they did...and how much you guys gave up to let me use them so much on their vacations.
Y'all rock!!!!
