They Came

They came on Sunday and have kept me busy ever since! Who you ask? Lizzie, Brooke, Brianna(awesomest niece ever!! inserted by Brianna, of course) and Christian, that's who! They were lovingly attacked as they pulled into the driveway, and quickly settled into the their usual posts. The teenagers take over the downstairs bedroom and Christian joins the other kids in Parker's and Noah's room upstairs. Both rooms quite literally become one big bed every summer! No Floor space! At. All.

I realize there are people out there that couldn't do this....that would go nuts having so many extra kids in their house for weeks on end in the summer. I know. And, I'm not gonna lie....there are times when I look around at the mess and think I might loose it. But, there are lots of hands to help clean it up and lots of laughs to make it go by quicker. As a matter-of-fact, the time flies, and now it time to pack them up and take them home, but I'm just now posting what I started on Monday! We've been to the beach. We've been to the Market. We've been to the pool. They cheered at our swim meet, on Tuesday, when Isabel won her first ever, 1st place blue ribbon!

And they will be back.....Christian and Brianna will come back with me on Sunday when I come back. So, we'll make more memories! Apples to Apples memories! Staying up late to watch movies memories. Card game and Nerf war memories. Lizzie laughing at her own joke until until she fell off my bed memories! And, I can't wait!
