LOA!

Here is the official LOA post!  Our agency contacted us on Monday (11/15) with the good news!  And it was officially delivered via the Stork....or the man formally known as Jesse-The-Fed-Ex-Guy. 

What in the world does this mean?  It means that China has approved our request to adopt Asher and just as soon as we cut some more red tape we can hop over the pond and pick him up!  What more could we have to do, you might ask.  HAHAHAHA!  If you asked, then you've never adopted a child under the Hague Treaty.  I spent the better part of yesterday filling out more paperwork for immigration.  Yes, yes.  I know I could have done it sooner, but hey.  I'm a wait-til-the-last-possible-minute kinda girl.  So, we signed the Letter Seeking Confirmation, and sent that on it's way back to Madison today with some of the paperwork and we sent a second package in the opposite direction heading to immigration services in Texas.  That pile of paper will lead to an approval by USCIS to bring an orphan into the country!  And the one headed to Madison will then return to China so we can get our TA issued.  We are well on our way now!  Sadly, Asher will not be with us for Christmas, though.  Our expected travel dates are mid-January to mid-February.
