Fun Friday!

Okay, it wasn't actually THAT much fun. It started out with a call to the pediatrician because Isabel, who has been sick since early January, is not any better after 10 days of amoxicillian. On our way to the doctor's office I noticed that my face and chest were hot and red. Hives. Apparently, I am allergic to Septra....add that to the growing list of antibiotics that I can not take! Fortunately, I am already take Prednisolone, the drug of choice to counter my allergic reactions. So, I stop taking the antibiotic that had me feeling better for the first time in a month! Oh well. Maybe just the Prednisolone will do the trick. Isabel is back on antibiotics, a stronger one this time. But, while strolling the aisles waiting for her script to be ready at Wally World, I ended up with a sliding board in my cart. How did that happen? Oh, I don't know! I think it's called "I'm getting soft and mushy in my old age!" AKA "one cute Asian face with a smile that lights the world!" Claire loves to slide and we don't have a slide. We HAD a slide for our other kiddos...but it didn't make it past Isabel's preschool years. Normally I would never make a purchase like that unless it was Christmas or a birthday and my kids know it...'cause Isabel's jaw dropped on the floor when she saw that merchandise going in the buggy! But, I rationalize it this way....if Claire had been born into our family, or even come home as an infant, we would have had a few years to build up to buying her a slide. But, here she is. Three years old and no slide. I don't know what's more pitiful....my rationalization skills or Claire's slide-less life before today! Just enjoy the pictures, okay!
Going up!
Coming down!

Playing soccer with Daddy...he's the goal.

As a mother, I say it was a very smart decision.

I sure hope you are feeling better.
